A NEW top executive is headed down to Cupertino in California to join Apple Inc. According to latest reports Kevin Lynch, Adobe chief tech executive, will be the new member of the Apple family.
Reports about Lynch quitting his post at Adobe to transfer to Apple sparked quick and mixed reactions, especially from loyal Apple followers, a huge number of whom remembered the top honcho’s participation in a very recent tussle between Adobe and the iPhone maker over support for Flash video on Apple gadgets.
The iconic Steve Jobs, the late co-founder of Apple, slammed the Flash platform openly for being vulnerable to crash on the iPad and other devices, putting his support on another format widely known as HTML5.
Reports also bared that Lynch will be reporting directly to Bob Mansfield, Apple tech senior vice president. Adobe disclosed that Lynch would resign from the company to welcome other opportunities.
