NOT GUILTY Verdict in Clemens Steroid Case.

NOT GUILTY was the verdict returned when a jury decided that he did not lie about using steroids. The former pitcher was charged with perjury, making false statements, and obstructing Congress during a sworn deposition in 2008. One of the top pitchers to ever play the game, Clemens testified before the Congressional Committee that he never used steroids. If Clemens had been found guilty on all counts, Clemens faced a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine.
