Ben Affleck Writing + Directing + Starring in Boston Set ‘Live By Night’

It’s in the books and official, after much speculation of what Ben Affleck‘s follow up to best picture winner Argo, might be, Affleck has signed on to write, direct, & star in the screen adaptation of Dennis Lehane‘s “Live By Night.” The film which is  set during the Prohibition in Boston, centers on Joe Coughlin, the son of a cop who finds himself slipping into a life of organized crime. As he climbs the ladder of organized crime, he journeys from Tampa to Cuba, encounters various dames, lowlifes and more in tale of revenge and redemption.

It’s a Dennis Lehane novel so you know it’s going to be a well written project, we’ll bring you more details as they develop.
