Phelps Last Performance is a Bust!!!

At the final 400-meter individual medley Saturday night, Michael Phelps, the most celebrated swimmer in the world, stepped out of the pool, but did not advance to the podium. This was almost surreal for fans, after watching the 2008 games, and seeing Phelps win every Olympic final he entered and taking home 8 gold medals, while tonight, he failed to win a medal of any kind in the opening event of his fourth and final Summer Games. After finishing fourth, and looking haggard while doing so, he never led in a race that his American teammate, Ryan Lochte won by nearly four seconds, with the same ease as Phelps did four years ago at the Beijing Games.
