Avengers…..YEAH BABY YEAH!

You can rest easy, knowing that your favorite superhero has been properly adapted to the screen. Not another Marvel tale has been lost due to poor translation from book to screen. (Pour a little out for Daredevil, and Fantastic Four though.) This new Avengers movie gets it right, and is easily one of the best super hero movies ever made.

The ensemble of actors (Robert Downey Jr, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo) With a cast that explosive know one stood out, and I mean that in a good way. Everyone was strong, and there wasn’t a moment in the film where we scoff at the screen going, “Oh, not this storyline, again.” It was truly a piece with 6 story-lines going on at once, but they were clear and concise. The main storyline of the film is Loki (Thor’s brother) opens up a portal to Earth, and “wants to bring humanity to it’s knees” by importing his army of aliens with him. The Avengers must overcome their differences, and egos (Even if they’re sky scraper huge –TONY STARKS) to save humanity.

The action sequences.

-Hulk, THEY FINALLY got it right. His ability to run, jump and “SMASH” is scary strong, and Mark Ruffalo’s portrayal as Eric Bana. I really can’t see anyone else playing the role, glad he signed on for six more movies. More Hulk movies to come. 

-Black Widow, and Hawkeye were innovative to say the least, yeah there were moments where I thought “Come on dude, she’s still a human. She doesn’t have super powers.” But the way they mixed their action scenes up, it was really innovative.

-Iron Man, I absolutely love his potrayal, and with every new Iron Man appearance, comes a new gadget that makes you think “Is that real?…Or did they just create that for this movie?” Which is always enjoyable as a fan, to be placed into that world so deeply.

Oh and I came across this spoof poster for the Avengers, if you watched Dexter Laboratory, then you’ll instantly understand the reference.
