First off, this weekend has been a truly eventful one for any fan of the Chi-town legend, Kanye West. We got word on the upcoming date & title of his upcoming album titled controversially, I might add, Yeezus, dropping June 18th. His fans were graced with not one, but TWO new songs, as Kanye projected a visual of song “New Slave” on 66 buildings throughout the world. And in addition, we got clear visuals of the new singles Black Skinhead & New Slave when he performed on SNL earlier today with Ben Affleck handling hosting duties. Last week he infamously proclaimed:
I Ain’t Doin No Muthaf**kin SNL Skits!
You can see the performances of both singles below, it seems Yeezy’s new music is taking a more aggressive, eye-opening conscious vibe to it. And we here at Faux Society applaud him for using his massive star power, to shine light on thoughts not really touched on often.
In addition to new music, Kanye also dropped a visual for a new red colorway of his extremely popular Yeezy II’s. – nah right.
Kanye isn’t letting up.
