Wu-Tang ringmaster RZA is making big waves this weekend with his directorial debut, The Man With the Iron Fists, which will be in theaters Friday. To build on the momentum of his fledging filmmaking career The RZA has signed on to direct the Genghis Khan biopic, Khan, who was one of the great military figures in world history and at the peak of his reign controlled over 3/4th’s of the world He is also remember as a ruler who united the Mongol tribes and conquered great parts of Asia and Eastern Europe in the early 13th century. The story will be told from the point of view of Khan’s son and grandson. The film which is prepping for a shoot in China next year and will take RZA back to the country where he shot Iron Fists.
