After crashing and burning last night during his Republican Nation Convention speech Thursday night. Where actor/director Clint Eastwood rambled for 15 plus minutes referring to an empty chair with the conceit that President Barack Obama was actually sitting in it.
“I was even crying. And then finally — and I haven’t cried that hard since I found out that there is 23 million unemployed people in this country.” And indicting the administration for what he described as its failures, Eastwood said: “So, Mr. President, how do you handle promises that you have made when you were running for election, and how do you handle them?”
But now it seems the empty chair is taking a life of it’s own. President Obama’s personal twitter sent out a short but sweet rebuttal to the drama swirling around Eastwood’s controversial speech:
