Spike Lee’s Old Boy Gets ART Filled Poster.

oldboyNew artwork for Spike Lee’s ‘Old Boy’ remake has come in with the haunting tagline “20 Years Were Taken From Me.” The use of images were a big issue for some critics especially the terrible 9/11 photos but the intention of the poster is to quickly sum up a few key moments the film’s lead character, Joe Doucett, missed while in captivity (20 long years.) The film is an American remake of the 2003 Korean classic, and it’s getting the Spike Lee spin on it as it tackles the year 2000, O.J. Simpson’s trial and acquittal, and Bill Clinton’s controversy-filled presidency. Spike Lee’s Old Boy opens on November 27th.
