The San Francisco Giants sweep the Tigers to become the 2012 World Series champions!  During the game Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run home run to put the Tigers up 2-1, giving the Tigers an early lead. Marco Scutaro singled home the tie breaking run in the 10th inning, for the Giants to beat the Detroit Tigers 4-3 to complete a four-game sweep and win their second World Series title in three years. Congratulations to the Giants and Pablo Sandoval who was named World Series MVP!
