Freddie Gibbs has never been known to bite his tongue whether it be on a track or in an interview. Well, the Indiana street lyricist spoke with MTV and cleared up his thoughts on his tenure with Young Jeezy’s CTE label which he recently parted ways with.

He touches on that “it’s tough meeting your heroes sometimes” because “when they take that cape off … sometimes it’s some scary (scared?) lil’ boy hiding under that cape.”

This is interesting as Freddie paints the picture clear that he wants Jeezy to respond and he’s not scared. The next question is though, will the retaliation be on wax or in person?
