A former Marine military police in Texas befriended the man who allegedly raped his girlfriend, by collecting video evidence of the assault, leading to his arrest, cops say. The alleged victim, whose name has not been released, has stated that in August of 2010, when she was 17 years old, had visited the home of Elric Shawn Millner, where he gave her a large amount of alcohol and when she awoke the next morning, she could not recall what had happened. The next morning, the victim sates, that Millner showed her videos of himself and another man forcing her to perform sexual acts, while she is begging them to stop. The victim told no one about the incident for two years, until she shared the details with her new boyfriend, who then befriended Millner in an attempt to collect video evidence. After winning Millner’s trust as a friend, the boyfriend persuaded Millner to show him the graphic footage. After viewing the footage, he then persuaded his girlfriend to go to the police regarding the assault. Prosecutors say they have obtained the video and it will be used as evidence. Millner was charged on Thursday with aggravated sexual assault and is being held on $50,000 bond.
