Border Patrol agents found over 30 cans of marijuana, presumably shot from a cannon, from Mexico into Yuma, Arizona, officials stated. The suspicious cans were found near the Colorado River. An investigation of the area discovered the cans were shot from a pneumatic-powered cannon from over 500 feet away. A carbon-dioxide tank was found nearby. The marijuana weighed in at 85 pounds with a street value of over $42,500. Border Patrol agents state that this is another ‘unique but unsuccessful attempt’ to smuggle drugs into the United States, and that the drugs will be  destroyed.
