This is great news for any street art enthusiasts living in New York City “for the next month Banksy will be attempting to host an entire show on the streets of New York,” says the artist on his website. World renowned artist Banksy who’s street art, which sometimes gets the chance to be preserved is having little such luck in New York City. Each stencil is being altered fairly quickly due to taggers, mods or just being flat out buffed.
Pictured above is what’s left of the inaugural piece that kicked off his new series of NYC work. But just like that, a new one pops up. According to Banksy’s site this whimsical tag and stencil is somewhere on 25th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues. Keep your eyes peeled as he’ll continue to throw up work and give clues, and easter eggs throughout this month.
