Good news to all those who were fans of this years highly successful reboot of the Spiderman franchise, both frontman Andrew Garfield & director Marc Webb have signed on to spin another web for Columbia Pictures. Emma Stone is in talks, but there is little doubt she won’t return as Peter Parker’s love interest in the new film. The script for the upcoming movie, which is also set to start filming early 2013 has been written by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci and Jeff Pinkner, with a tentative release date of May 2, 2014. 

“We could not be more confident in the direction we are taking this new Spider-Man storyline, and we are tremendously excited to be ramping up production again with Marc at the helm and Andrew continuing on as Peter Parker,” Columbia president Doug Belgrad said. “We can’t wait to share what we have in store for Peter and Spider-Man with audiences worldwide.”
