No film stirred up controversy and got the critics raving at this year’s Sundance Film Festival quite like Craig Zobel’s shocking thriller “Compliance.” The chilling film, which is based on true events, explores how people COMPLY, and respond with authority. In the movie a man impersonating a police officer calls the manager of a fast food restaurant and convinces her that an employee has stolen money from a customer. The worker, Becky (played by Dreama Walker), is detained for hours by her boss, Sandra (Ann Dowd). Get a sense of what got people so riled up by watching the JUST-released trailer from Magnolia pictures it’s set to open August 17.
