Sleep paralysis, that horrible moment when you’re caught in a lucid dream and not aware of being aware. That’s what the upcoming documentary ‘The Nightmare’ tackles covering by interviewing eight adults who suffer from sleep paralysis and resulting night terrors, recreating their horrific dreamscapes for the viewer to witness. Director Rodney Ascher finds his own terrifying lane carving a unique and branded version of horror which is original all unto itself.
