Twitter is launching VINE or as I like to call it (6 Seconds Of Awesome) to the Android smartphone market, users can officially begin sharing their short films through the video app. Vine, launched in January on Apple’s IOS, and has since amassed more than 13 million users and is growing by the day. This latest version requires Android 4.0 or higher but will not have all of the up-to-date features that the IOS version currently does. But Twitter promises that new Vine features to be rolled out on IOS in the next few weeks will come to Android soon. Features include the ability to shoot using the front facing camera, ability to tag or mention users in a video post, and Facebook sharing.
If you don’t already follow US on Vine @FauxSociety, here’s a gem we created a few weeks back!
