Jay Electronica Releases First Cut off of ‘Act II’

Updates on Jay Electronica’s debut album, Act II: The Patents Of Nobility (The Turn) have been flooding in. The New Orleans rapper announced recently that the project was completed. No release dates have been announced, but according to Roots Drummer ?uestlove, and personal friend of  Mr. Electronica, said Jay-Z referred to Electronica’s album as his “favorite record of 2012” but was concerned with the fact that so far, the album has no singles.

“Actually Jay, Sean Carter, has the record,” ?uestlove explained in his interview which was posted on RapRadar

“Listens to it constantly. Say it’s his favorite record of 2012. He says it has no singles on it though, but it’s his favorite record…Jay wants a single.”

So, we won’t hear the album until it acquires a radio single. Faux Society will still look forward to hearing this album and we wish Mr. Electronica the continued ‘gift’ of “SMART” lyrics for years to come.

UPDATE: Jay Electronica released the first track off of his album. We are slowly but surely taking steps to a release of the 2 year and often delayed “ACT II: The Patents Of Nobility (The Turn)” album.

In other words a big YES is needed!
