The Jackie Robinson biopic 42 hits theaters on April 12th. Newcomer Chadwick Boseman tackles the lead role of Robinson, the first star player to break the color barrier in Major League Baseball, soundtrack provided by Jay-Z. (His music seems to be playing background in all the period piece trailers, didn’t know the Roc-a-fella lineage dated back that far.) 42 was written and directed by Brian Helgeland.
