UBIQ EL SATIN.

Its been a few years since we’ve seen a refresh of the signature model from Japanese footwear label UBIQ, but the eL is back. A sneaker sought after by both sneakerheads and trend-setting boutique customers, the eL first hit the scene in a nylon satin quilted upper (instead of its original leather and suede) back in 2008. UBIQ continues with that construction and adds in four new colorways, including navy, black, green, and red, each with a three color strap around the ankle. Tonal liners and a midsole with white foxing balance out the look. Scheduled to hit retailers in mid-May – just in time for the Summer 2012 season – you can pre-order yours now at atmos’ online store or at their location in Tokyo.

After about 13,000 (YEN) it translates to about $165 American, which isn’t bad when you think of it, you’ll definitely be the only one wearing these in the States.
