As if Alibaba’s CEO Jack Ma wasn’t powerful enough, his subsidiary company Taobao has beaten Amazon to the much touted title of incorporating “drone delivery” as a shipping method. They even posted an video showcasing the corporation working  a logistics company YTO Express to get someone their ginger tea packets. In fact, they’ll be delivering 450 lucky customers ginger tea packets to in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou over the next three days starting Feb. 4.

This is a huge punch in the mouth to Seattle based Amazon who made big waves after announcing their drone technology earlier this year. I feel sorry for the all the postman who aren’t as entertaining as watching a drone drop off a six pack at your house.
