Ben Silbermann and Evan Sharp, Pinterest founders, on Tuesday, revealed their iPad and Android apps, while they also unveiled their completely revamped iPhone app, as they urged users to use the social-networking site to interact with the world. Silbermann said that “Our goal has never been to get in front of the computer transfixed for hours and hours on end; it’s to get you offline.” In 2009, Pinterest was unveiled, they then raised $100 million, putting the company’s estimated value $1.5 billion. The site originally went public by invitation only, and went public to anyone without an invite on Aug. 8th.
