Lyoto Shows Off At UFC on FOX 4

Tonight, Lyoto Machida showed the world why he’s the patiently dangerous striker that he is, when after a round and half of baiting opponent Ryan Bader, when Bader fell victim to the bait, he paid, and paid severely for it, resulting in a flash knock out for Machido. The knockout will definitley go in Lyoto’s highlight reel, to further exemplify his lethalness. And the payment for this impressive performance? UFC president Dana White rewarded Lyoto with yet another title shot. Why oh why give him another shot? Because I saw the last fight, and I’ve never seen Lyoto get dominated the way he was dominated in the second round by Jon Jones in his LAST title shot circa October 2011. I don’t know what Machida will bring differently this go around, and in all honesty I can only foresee the same results for the “Dragon” as last time. Sorry Machida, but Jones already has your number….Assuming he gets past current challenger Dan Henderson in September of course!
