The Comedy Central series starring comedians Kegan Michael Key & Jordan Peele has been renewed for a third season. This season has produced some of their biggest hits sketch comedy wise, the substitute teacher, suburban zombies, I’M RETIRED, and below Keegan’s introduction to the genre of music dubstep. Happy for these guy they deserve all the success that’s been coming to them, remember them when they used to kill it on FOX’s MAD tv! NEW YORK, November 27, 2012 – The many faces of COMEDY CENTRAL’s sketch comedy stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will continue to make a mark in today’s cultural zeitgeist as the all-comedy channel has ordered a third season of the hit sketch show “Key & Peele,” it was announced today by Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production, COMEDY CENTRAL. The series is created by and stars Key and Peele and is executive produced by Key, Peele, Ian Roberts, Jay Martel and Joel Zadak. Thirteen new episodes are set to premiere in the fall of 2013.
“Since Obama won re-election, it only seems fair that we would give ‘Key and Peele’ another season,” said Alterman.
“We are so thrilled about the pick-up and want to thank COMEDY CENTRAL for FOUR MORE YEARS!” said Key and Peele. “Oh wait, what’s that? One more year? Oh….ok, that will work too.”
