Karen O’s Debuts Her’s ‘The Moon Song’

“The Moon Song”, written for and inspired by Spike Jonze’s Her, was recorded at Yeah Yeah Yeah’s front-woman Karen O’s home. In the film, the song is sung by Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson. Johansson voices a computer operating system named “Samantha”; Phoenix plays the man that falls in love with the computer.  In addition to the Karen O song, Her‘s music was composed by Arcade Fire. Her receives a limited release on December 18 in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto and receives a wide release on January 10.
