Issa Rae X Shonda Rhimes Sell Series To ABC ‘I Hate L.A. Dudes’

If you’re a fan of massive hit web series Awkward Black Girl or Grey’s Anatomy than this is good news for you! Issa Rae (Star & Creator of A.B.G.) &  Shonda Rhimes (Creator of Grey’s Anatomy) have created and sold a half hour comedy to ABC networks. The series which was produced through Rhime’s production company Shondaland production, is called I Hate LA Dude, the series has an official synopsis that reads as:

I Hate L.A. Dudes centers on an aspiring journalist, new to Los Angeles, who becomes the lone female voice on a budding, male-driven Internet talk show, while learning to decode the often humiliating and exasperating rules of the LA dating scene. 

Rae who is repped by UTA, 3 Arts & John Meigs, will both be writing & co-executive producing the project.
