David Cross’ ‘HITS’ Distributed On BitTorrent Bundles

After seeing the massive success of Thom Yorke’s last album, generating close to 20 million dollars via BitTorrent’s. Director David Cross takes his debut film HITS will premiere February 13th on the peer-to-peer technology platform.  This is a fascinating &  groundbreaking way to distribute indie films, opening yet another avenue for films to make their money back and become profitable.

HITS, written and directed by David Cross, debuted at Sundance Film Festival in January 2014.  It’s a dark comedy about fame and delusion in The United States of YouTube, a true story that hasn’t happened yet. (But, pretty much inevitably, will.) Fans will also be able set their own pricing in theaters at pay-what-you-want screenings in theatrical markets throughout the US and Canada.
