Donald Glover: Less Appearance in Community, More Time For Childish Gambino

Donald Glover, who plays Troy Barnes on the cult favorite series Community, can no longer commit much of his time to NBC’s darling. As a result, the actor will appear only in five of the thirteen episodes in the upcoming season. Glover has been very busy concentrating on his music career touring under his moniker Childish Gambino. On top of all of that he is also developing a new show for NBC with Matt Hubbard who is one of the executive producers of 30 Rock. The project is going to be roughly based on Glover’s upbringing, Glover worked as a writer on 30 Rock from 2008 to 2009 and it appears that the network is hugely counting on him for a hit on their comedy block.
