The Nets general manager Billy King said in a statement, “Kris has been a very consistent player for us over the past two years, and he has developed into one of the top rebounding forwards in the league, and we are very pleased to welcome him back.” Humphries finished the 2011-2012 season, lockout and all, with a 13.8 and 11 rebound game average, his highest career stats, yet.
