Mark Zuckerberg has already connected more than 3 billion people via the world changing site Facebook, but now the mogul has taken on a new initiative to bring internet connection to the rest of the world. His new venture Internet.Org seeks to bring connection to more than two/thirds of the world without digital connectivity. Facebook has already invested more than $1 billion to connect people in the developing world over the past few years, and Mark has released a ‘rough plan’ to do more. Their idea is for Facebook to work with founding partners Facebook, Ericsson, MediaTek, Nokia, Opera, Qualcomm and Samsung who’ve committed to mobilizing technology in these underdeveloped lands.
