The Oldboy Poster + Red Band Trailer Has Arrived!

Oldboy the Korean classic from 2003 is getting this American remake with Josh Brolin as lead, and Spike Lee at the helm as director. The film which follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement, debuted its red band trailer today. The movie is a visceral thriller movie about a man who endeavors to accomplish a mission of finding out the root cause of his strange and tormenting punishment, only to realize that he is still trapped in a web of crime and pain. I don’t know if this will live up to the original, what are you thoughts after seeing the trailer? Yay or Nay?
