Warby Parker has been earmarked by Google to create a line of fashionable glasses that will allow its wearers to always have the internet in its line of vision. On Wednesday, Google began accepting applications for users to purchase an early version of the glasses, and sources claimed that Google intends to sell the glasses to the general public this year. The glasses reach the internet through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which connects through a wireless phone, and which responds to the user’s voice commands. As of this moment, the glasses have no lens, but Google is working on adding prescriptions and sunglasses.
