Comedy trailblazer Louis C.K. is backing one of his fellow great comedians in New York’s Todd Barry. This past year he film as he embarked on an experimental comedy tour, in which all he did was crowd work — or, engage the audience in improvised conversations — Louis C.K. decided to produce the film, called The Crowd Work Tour, and feature it on his website.
He sat down with NPR to talk about the production process behind the film, it’s an insightful interview that brings light into his joke writing technique as well. You can purchase and stream the film for the little cost of $5, here.
