It’s 2013, don’t dry-snitch on yourself on the internets. After posting about drunk driving New Year’s Day on Facebook, an Oregon teen has been arrested and charged with two counts of failing to perform the duties of a driver. While investigating a mysterious hit-and-run in Astoria, Oregon, police were tipped off to a Facebook post by 18-year-old Jacob Cox-Brown, which read,
“Drivin drunk … classic π but to whoever’s vehicle I hit I am sorry :p.”
A visit to Cox-Brown’s home by investigators, found his car was damaged, in addition to pieces of his car they had found at the scene of the accident.
